My first ever Vlog that has nothing to do with running and everything to do with my embarrassment

Alright Music Man…
You asked me to prove it. So I did.

I <3 You

My rendition of “Love is a Verb”

Passing the Baton: How ridiculous was I, really? If I get a better camera, would you like more running related Vlogs? Or just Vlogs in general? Or should I steer clear of them?

It's 5:45 in the morning. My quiet hour.
I am easing into my day in the usual way. Last night, just before I lay me down to sleep, I ran across one of those generic, shared, inspirational Facebook postings that seemed to speak directly to ME, silencing some insidiously nagging doubts that live in my head but had no name.
"His grace is BIGGER than your SINS."
That healing/ helping thought was posted by....your mom. If your mother's post uplifted me, your vlog "caught me", before I could tumble back and brought me to a momentary state of grace. Let me explain.
In your blog you often speak of gratitude, asking "What are you thankful for?"
My answer is...I am thankful my children have grown into people who are worthy of the love of another.
Even The Best mothers harbor doubt. "Have I done right by my kid(s)? Have my short-comings damaged them? Will they thrive as adults?"
When I see that my son, my baby boy, is truly LOVED by such an awesome woman as you, all those old doubts fade away. I have brought up a beautiful boy who has become the kind of man to make any mother proud, the kind of man who is deserving of the love of a girl like you. ( Amy has heard this stuff, as well.)
THIS is what I am most proud and thankful for.....that my son (all my babies) has grown into a person who is worthy of the love of another.
Thank you so much for this. He wouldn't be the man he is without you as his Mom.
You make my heart happy :)

Your heart should be VERY happy. When a man is loved more than books, baked goods and running, (we'll just leave John Mayer out of this) then he is truly loved indeed......
